Why jamie foxx as electro

Stacy and The Lizard, and then Gwen Stacy died in the second movie. In the second movie, only Electro was a quality villain. The problem is that the thoughts of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 leaves a bad taste in many fans' mouths , and bringing back Foxx as Electro will make those memories rise again. Does Sony really want the stink of Amazing Spider-Man 2 in its new movie? The return of Jamie Foxx as Electro has most fans thinking of one thing.

Electro returning means it is time for Spider-Man to battle the Sinister Six. Michael Keaton's Vulture is out of prison, as shown in the Morbius trailer. There is also a chance a new Mysterio could show up like in the comics, and maybe Kraven could finally make his first appearance. Its time for Spidey to battle his most persistent enemies. One thing that Spider-Man has thrived with is new villains in the new movies.

There is no rehashing the Green Goblin again. The studio didn't pull Doctor Octopus out and throw him at Spider-Man again. They made two lesser villains — Vulture and Mysterio — mean something special. Just from the casting perspective, bringing in Jamie Foxx to play Electro again for the next Spider-Man movie is a great move. Foxx was good as Electro, bringing pathos to the villain that made him sympathetic instead of evil. There are a few notable exceptions, but by and large, Jamie Foxx is cast as the cool dude in a movie.

He's a veteran playing bad-asses, looking awesome even when you don't want him to, and he definitely he could kick some ass at any moment.

It was what made his portrayal in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 so confusing , as he plays a version of Maxwell Dillon that is everything but that.

I get castings that defy expectations of roles one would expect from an actor but casting Jamie Foxx as a soft-spoken introvert was what one would call "a choice. Really, I think you could just bring this Electro into the story without the origin considering audiences have seen one incarnation of him before, and maybe he'll just be cooler as a hardened criminal who runs afoul of some experiment than an employee of a tech lab.

If there was one thing that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 got right with Electro from the start, it was the decision to re-design the overall character's look. Obviously, I'm not going to sit here and defend the choice to make him blue, but I'm also not going to sit here and act like it wasn't an upgrade from the original outfit he sported in Marvel comics. One thing I have appreciated to this point in the Tom Holland Spider-Man era is how well the films have managed to maintain the original look of the character costumes from the comics.

I can't state enough how that's not necessary and that I would not be on board with a costume that pays homage to the weird lightning mask and green spandex. Honestly, I'm not even a fan of the green and yellow aesthetic, so Sony can feel free to revamp that look in whatever way they see fit. I think one of the biggest missteps of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was how they tried to make Electro sympathetic. Story details are being kept under the mask, but having Foxx return is a stunner as it shows a further melding of the previous Spider-Man movies into the current Holland series, which is the first one that has Marvel running point on production.

Far From Home began that idea by bringing back J. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson , the character he played in the Tobey Maguire-starring Spider-Man trilogy, a move that tickled audiences with glee. He is a fictional super villain character that appears in the Marvel Comics. He was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in Maxwell Dillon lived a very lonely and unfulfilling life. The hero told him, "You're my guy. You're my ears and eyes on the street.

Dillon took the words perhaps a bit too literally and began to see himself as some sort of de-facto accomplice or sidekick to Spider-Man. He goes into a state of obsessively idolizing Spider-Man and making attempts to try and "help" the hero in any way he could.

After his birthday was forgotten by everyone, Max is repairing some electric cables in a shaft and he gets zapped, sending him falling into a vat below, filled with electric eels. The wires he was working on fall inside too. He subsequently emerges walking through smoke, with the outer char breaking off his skin. The mixture of electricity and chemicals causes Max's skin to become blue, and electricity to flow beneath it after a small stage of metamorphosis.
